Ceremonial Induction of the SLACPT President 2023/24
The ceremonial induction of the SLACPT President for
2023/23 Professor Priyadarshani Galappatthy was held on the 12th of August
2023, at UCFM Tower, Colombo. Mr. S.Janaka Sri Chandraguptha (Secretary of
Health) was the chief guest, while Vidhya Joythi Professor Vajira H.W.
Dissanayake (President, Sri Lanka Medical Council) was the Guest of Honour.
The situation analysis report on ‘Challenges and barriers for the effective
supply of medicines to the State sector and recommendations to the Ministry of
Health’ conducted by the SLACPT at the request of the Health Secretary was
handed over to Mr. S.Janaka Sri Chandraguptha (Secretary of Health) at this
